Erstens: 9 Millionen Zuschauer könnten zu wenig sein. Dollhouse sollte meiner Meinung nach die 10er-Grenze schaffen, um wirklich gute Aussichten zu haben. Auf der anderen Seite: Terminator:TSCC premierte damals bei 18 Millionen und sackte auf 7-8 runter für den Rest der ersten Staffel. Und bekam ne zweite unter dem neuen Fox-Regime.

Zweitens: Remote-free TV hat scheinbar funktioniert:

Es folgen kurze Happen mit den Schauspielern über ihre Rollen, besonders remarkable natürlich Olivia Williams auf die Frage, ob Adelle böse ist:

Auch schön finde ich Hr. Gjokaj:

Und wer die geleakten Drehbuchseiten zu "Echo" gelesen hat, kann ja schon ein wenig vermuten, wohin dieses Geheimnis gehen könnte.

Viel wird ja spekuliert über die von Amy Acker gespielte Dr. Claire Saunders, vor allem weil Joss den Charakter mit Narben verserhen hat. Auf whedonesque beschreibt bobw1o ein Foto:

Dr. Saunder's Scars are indeed pretty intense. Not along the lines of Two-Face or Darth Vader, but not at all subtle. There are three on the right side of her forehead that all run from top right towards her nose. There is one on the left of her forehead that is much shorter and runs from left to right across her eyebrow. There's one that runs left to right across her nose and down into her cheek, and may in fact be a continuation of the one on her eyebrow. The last one runs vertically from her left nostril down across her lips to her chin.

The picture I'm looking at was actually a costume fitting and I don't know how old it is, it's possible the scars changed. I edited Shawna Trpcic's show reel for Comic-con and she provided some photos. As this showed at Comic-Con (briefly), I assume I'm safe describing it, but as the photo is Fox property and none have been released of the character, I don't feel comfortable putting it online.

In summary, the scars are large, not localized, and don't appear to have a distinct pattern (like if she was clawed across the face by a clawed hand/foot/paw).

Offenbar wurde während meines Urlaubs eine dritte Folge fertiggedreht, und zwar von wem anderen als Joss. Dies beleg das "Joss directed two of the three episodes already shot" hier. Worum's in dem Artikel eigentlich geht, ist aber die von Joss erfragte 2-wöchige-Produktionspause für Drehbuchwerkeleien. Dazu Fox:

"We have every confidence that [the extra time] will allow Joss to make the show the best it can possibly be. It's very rare that you have a head writer who is also directing two episodes in a row. But we are happy that Joss is directing, because this is his vision."

Man beachte aber auch diesen Artikel der von Bösem spricht: "indications that some executives inside Fox are deeply concerned about the creative direction of the series" oder "concerns raised inside the network about the fundamental underpinnings of the show". Die Quelle wird als "A person familiar with the thinking of some Fox executives" was nicht viel heißt. Auch heißt es am Ende:

It’s worth noting that internal debates over shows are standard operating procedure inside networks, and that different factions within a network—such as marketing or development—might disagree about a show’s potential.

Na hoffen wir's.
