Und das Missing Link von Buffy zu Dark Angel ist natürlich: Fray. Hier kommen wir dem Cyberpunkt-Feel nahe. Die Idee, dass Vampire als verachtete, aber nicht wegzuleugnende soziale Gruppe unter uns leben (siehe dazu auch, was Alan Ball derzeit macht) wäre direkt das, was ich mir in der (nie zustande gekommen) dritten Dark Angel-Staffel vorgestellt hätte.

Im Dollverse-Forum sagt wer Wahres zum Fringe-Piloten:

My only concern at this point is that Dollhouse is being compared to, or at least sharing attention with, Fringe. The Fringe Pilot has been leaked. I'm watching.... I'm bored. The 3-D lettering for locations makes me feel like I'm playing a really bad video game. And REALLY? Do we need to have the main character's name told to us FIVE times in the first 15 minutes? Also, did anyone not see the unhappy coming? Sorry J.J., You hooked me in the first five minutes of Alias, and kept me for all five seasons, But after 15 minutes of this, I just don't know how much more I can take. I'm worried that J.J. Abrams has become the next M. Night Shyamalan. (Awesome start, Not too bad follow up, predictable tripe)
I hope people in January don't think, "Oh, this is the other show that FOX thought would be awesome."
Maybe I should keep watching... maybe I'll be surprised.... just not seeing the "hook" that's supposed to grab attention quick.
Wanting to care, but not.

Bis auf die 3D-Buchstaben, die ich witzig fand, kann ich da nur zustimmen. Auch ist mir bisher noch nie die (auch für mich wunderbar funktionierende) Abrams-Shyamalan-Ähnlichkeit aufgefallen.

We already know that Joss Whedon will have some sort of Dollhouse panel on Saturday at this year’s Comic-Con (and I might have the scheduled time for that a little later on). I can now report that Joss will also have something on Friday, a combined presentation about Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog and the Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Season 8 comic book.
