The greatest threat to Dollhouse is the 'it's not going to last, so why bother tuning in' attitude. The last thing we should do is to validate that cynicism with pre-emptive 'save Dollhouse' campaigns ('the show's not even aired yet and it's already in trouble'), that would destroy the ratings and the show.
There isn't really reason for beating drums. Fox is under new management of Kevin Reilly who is known for sheperding new shows, even saving Office from cancellation in its low-rated first season. A lot of the Firefly time middle management is also gone. Dollhouse is going to be aired not in the Friday night 'death slot' but as a lead-in for 24. In order to entice audience Fox is even taking the financial risk of reducing the advertising time by half during the show. Fox bought seven episodes without seeing a script. They've set up this website 8 months before the show is going to air.
If you want to give Dollhouse the best chance, stop spreading paranoia and start reinforcing the positive message instead.
